Lancer and Lace Salon General Terms and Conditions
For the purposes of the following terms and conditions Lancer and Lace salon will be referred to as “salon”.
Please allow sufficient travel time to ensure that you arrive at the salon in time for your scheduled appointment. We recommend you arrive up to 5 minutes in advance of your service. Please be advised that late arrivals will result in a reduction of treatment time, and be charged the full rate for the service.
We are delighted to offer treatments for children under 16 years old however they must be accompanied by an adult for the whole
duration. Please contact the salon reservations team for details on treatments available for our young guests.
We understand at times it might be necessary to bring your children to the salon; we endeavor to accommodate this, but we ask that you respect other clients.
Our salon environment is one of relaxation. Please respect all salon guests’ right to privacy and serenity. Considering this, we ask that you turn down the volume on your cell phone.
Kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your choice of treatment when making your reservation.
We have specially designed treatments for expectant women or nursing mothers. Please allow our team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable during this special time.
Lancer and Lace salon accepts no responsibility for loss of valuables and jewelry at any time on the salon premises.
All lost property found on the premises should be handed in to the reception staff. Items will be stored for four months, if they are not collected within this time they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, under garments and hair brushes are kept for 24 hours only.

Your appointments are very important to the Lancer and Lace team; each appointment is reserved especially for you. At Lancer and Lace we understand that circumstances may change and booking amendments may be necessary, therefore we respectfully request 24 hours notice for cancellations.
Strict 24 hour cancellation policy
Please understand that when you forget to cancel your appointment within the 24 hour cancellation time we miss the opportunity to fill that time, therefore customers awaiting appointments miss the opportunity to receive our services. A 48 hour appointment reminder is sent via text message as we understand that appointments may have been made in advance. Since the appointments are made individually for you, a cancellation fee will apply
Less than 24 hours notice will result in a 50% charge, if a multiple service or group appointment is cancelled a 50% charge per service will be made.
“No Shows” will be charged at 120% of the reserved service amount. This covers 100% of the missed service and an additional 20% for stylist gratuity.
GIFT VOUCHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Once issued the value on the Lancer and Lace Gift Card can be used as full or part payment at the salon.
The card can be loaded with any value up to a maximum of $750.
The monies on the card cannot be exchanged for cash. Any remaining balance will be stored on the card and may be used to pay for future purchase.
Any additional cost exceeding the value of this voucher will be paid by the redeemer.
All monies on the card must be used by the expiry date which is 6 months from the date the card was issued. Any balance left on the card after 6 months of not being used will be deducted.
You should treat this card as cash - it cannot be replaced if lost.
This gift voucher will be considered null and void without the Expiry Date and Authorized Signature being filled up, seal and other authentication signs or if tampered.
Please be aware that Lancer and Lace does not send Gift Cards to recipients, all Gift Cards must be purchased and picked-up in the salon.
To check the remaining balance on your card call (206) 420-8170 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org referencing your unique gift card serial number. Calls are charged at local rate.
Lancer and Lace reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time or with draw the card on reasonable notice.
In the event of any dispute, the decision by Lancer and Lace is final. Your statutory rights are not affected.
RETAIL PRODUCTS REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Products must be returned unused, unopened with their seal intact and in the same condition as they were originally purchased from Lancer and Lace salon. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was purchased from us. Due to some products containing sell-by or used-by dates we cannot except returns after 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase for your item is required always. This does not affect your statutory rights.
SERVICE REFUND AND RE-DO POLICY
Lancer and Lace stylists and estheticians pride themselves on very high-quality service. Lancer and Lace has a strict no refund policy on services provided, however, if a client is unhappy with their service, Lancer and Lace may choose to offer a complimentary re-do. Lancer and Lace reserves the right to decide whether a complimentary service is warranted or not.
Clients should also be aware that Lancer and Lace salon leases chairs to numerous independent stylists. If booking with an independent stylist, clients must be advised that all booking, refunds and re-dos are at the discretion of the independent stylist. Lancer and Lace policies do not apply to these independent stylists, similarly, Lancer and Lace will not be held liable for decisions made by independent stylists. Lancer and Lace receptionists are more than happy to answer any questions that you might have.
